I figured since everyone else was doing it, why not make one myself?
Recently I went on a 11 day vacation to Japan.
It was an adventure to say the least, since I only know a handful of Japanese words. One of the funniest things that happened to me there was I was looking for a place to eat in Hiroshima and we stumbled into a small shop along the boulevard. It smelled like a restaurant, so we sat down at the counter and tried to order. That's when it got interesting... They didn't speak a single word of English and we couldn't tell them what we wanted to eat, no pictures to gesture to, so I, hungry as hell, just started saying 'whatever is good.' Eventually we got an order after some more pointing, and it was one of the best meals I had there, soba noodles with with pork in a bowl about the size of my head.
All in all a good day.
